At AstroVedha, we consider birth chart information (Janma Kundli) to be deeply personal and sacred. We are committed to absolute transparency and data minimization. We do NOT sell, rent, monetize, or broker your personal birth information to third-party advertisers or data aggregators.
2. Information We Collect
- Astrological Coordinates & Birth Data:
- Full Name, Gender, Date of Birth (DD/MM/YYYY), Exact Time of Birth (HH:MM:SS), Place of Birth (City, State, Country, Latitude, Longitude, Timezone).
- Account & Authentication Details:
- Email Address, Encrypted Password Hash, Profile Name, Preferred Language (English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, etc.).
- Transaction & Payment Data:
- Payment processor transaction IDs, billing postal code, invoice history. Note: We never store full credit card numbers or UPI PINs on our servers. All transactions are securely processed via PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant gateways (Razorpay, Stripe).
- Technical & Device Telemetry:
- IP address, browser type, device operating system, language headers, and session tokens for secure authentication.

- High-Precision Ephemeris Calculations: Translating your birth coordinates into planetary longitudes, divisional charts (D1–D60), and dasha periods.
- Personalized Astrological Remedial Insights: Generating tailored gemstones, rudraksha recommendations, and Lal Kitab remedies.
- 1-on-1 Consultation Facilitation: Providing astronomical calculations for your personal digital reports.
- Service Security & Fraud Prevention: Protecting accounts against unauthorized multi-device intrusions.
4. Encryption & Security Architecture
- 256-Bit SSL/TLS Encryption: All communications between your browser and our servers are encrypted using modern TLS 1.3 / AES-256 cipher suites.
- Client-Side Profile Sandboxing: Multi-profile data is cryptographically scoped per authenticated user session.
- Zero-Knowledge Astrological Sandbox: Automated report engines process chart calculations in ephemeral memory caches that are cleared after report rendering.
5. Data Retention & Your Rights
You possess complete ownership of your personal data. At any time, you may exercise the following rights via your Account Settings or by emailing privacy@astrovedha.in: - Right to Access: Request an export of all birth charts and dossier data linked to your account. - Right to Rectification: Update or correct any inaccurate birth time, city coordinates, or name. - Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"): Request permanent deletion of your account and all associated birth profiles from our databases within 7 business days. - Right to Restrict Processing: Disable automated AI astrological interpretations while retaining read-only access to foundational planetary charts.

We use essential session cookies and browser LocalStorage solely to maintain your authentication state, language preference (11 regional languages), and theme choice (Light/Dark mode). We do not use intrusive cross-site behavioral tracking cookies.
